Lucky Peach Presents: David Chang Cooking Ramen Fried Chicken
I watch this video at least once a week.
Beautiful too see mother and son cook in the kitchen. What a Beautiful tribute! The am you for sharing!! You should do cooking show together .
My husband and I went to eat Carbone Restaurant in Dallas TX we ordered Chicken Massimo OMG!!! It was AMAZING! The food and service was TOP NOTCH!
The majority of the cooking I do, people say oh this is so good! What I SAY is thank you!, but what I’m thinking is “how would you know?” It’s always a treat for me when I get to cook for my foodie friends…maybe I’ll do this when I’m cooking for them.
A Nando the best 👏👏👏👏🤘🤘❤
My lowest weight was 41kg at 167cm eating 3 meals a day and never had a salad. They teach you nutrition wrong at school and may ads have skewed peoples idea of healthy. Knowledge is power my friend
Good luck you deserve a long healthy happy life. If you keep trying itll eventually happen. No one ever succeeds the first time in anything. All winners were once losers till they got it.
Aussie? You said youd pay 12k to lose weight. Kept deleting my reply. 99% of people dont know proper nutrition. Anything healthy is extremely low in cals. I did a cert iv in nutrition applied science at a college so private credible rafe that was specific in what they offered. In 2010 tafes started moving more online. Online today is far better then back then. My main recipe book is an old womans weekly and i just tweak all the recipes so theyre healthy by default low weight. Basically remove all produced foods and actually make them from scratch as much as possible. Processed foods are far higher in cals with far less nutrition even dried bought herbs have added cals compared to fresh herbs. The more processed foods the more cals.
This does cost more and requires more time to cook meals. If your short in time get a stir fry recipe book there so many different ones out there and they have veg usually some bit of meat and a sauce that you can make your self as best as possible less process less cals. Stir fresh only take 10mins and there so much variety of them.
I only cook dinner. Either meals are for either two or one and I always cook a 6 serve meal at dinner I then use the old square Tupperware to store away the other meals after a few days you have a variety to choose from for lunch as well not just dinner. Breakfast I start off with the exact some thing that is a massive high whole protein source. It's the best way to start the day. If you find yourself regularly craving for a particular processed food it's likely because it uses sugar as a preservative and there's a sugar addiction. To fix sugar addiction remove all sugar from diet and every time you crave you eat something high in fat like a bit of processed meat or nuts it tricks the brain after 1 month Max the sugar addiction should be gone. Removing sugar and eating high fat is not a good idea long term it'll actually cause an early death so only for short term purposes it's good for like easy cheat to get rid of sugar addiction.

The only downside is that it’s not cooked in a charcoal oven
piu belissima
I know this is 9 years later but what did David call the Vegetable stock? Sounded like Veg Nag or something. Wonder if he still hates celery in 2024? :)
nage - it's the french term for a veg stock typically used for seafood
We recently visited Dario and his beautiful restaurant. We had no clue how amazing this place would be. It was the highlight of our trip to Tuscany!
Dunno how many times I've watched this but boy it never gets old.
I was there!
Looks so dam tasty i miss south Korea
I watch this video at least once a year, it's my favorite food video
I love this video. Everything looks so amazing and delicious. And then the last ten seconds is the video creator taking a bite of the sandwich with no expression and a fade away. Incredible
I have the bacon shipped to me and my family all the way to Colorado to get good bacon and hams
How the fuck did he mange to get that crust just piercing the meat a little? Like people use all kinds of sophisticated, labor intensive techniques to get a crust that good. I want to know what that oven program does.
I met him at an airport lounge once and was lucky enough to strike up a conversation. I asked him what the best steak is and without pause, he immediately responded "Outback Steakhouse". I was like "really? the chain?". He said, "Yes. The have it down to a science and you can always rely on them to get you a great steak and its not expensive." Good guy.
what happens if yoiu LEAVE the membrane?
Questa è una porchetta, no quella di Lattanzi che la sala in salamoia...
Best Porchetta from a gas oven. Stop it.
Afiyet olsun 🪻🥀🌹
Hellz yeah thanks for the insight . Learned some new things about their malasadas from this video!! Missing these ono malasadas here in da mainland
Love your segments. FYI: in Hawaii there’s no “D” on the word Shaved. It’s “Shave Ice” (in pidgin). You can always tell who’s kama’aina by the way you say it…it’s a litmus test LOL.
Magnificent! A thing of beauty!
Man, i like this guy.
It would probably make sense to use this method with Italian pasta.
i watched this years ago and finally went. if anything theyre understating how awesome this place is. the best ramen ever.
Si ma poi non puoi cucinarla nel forno elettrico! E dai
Ok this dude is hilarious lmao
Using Ramen, he is not lying... it's the best coating for fried chicken, it's like a cheat code. I do it all the time.. Just remember to season ur chicken and season ur Ramen flour or crushed ramen.
The bread looks black at the end. To eat something that beautiful as a sandwich is a sin.
Thats a Grande one year old pig
Damn this was 8 years ago. What I thought I knew then vs what I know now.
Can anyone explain to me why this live recipe is so different than the one listed online?? The online one says go baste it in the glaze whereas this one just uses it as a topping. Very strange
My soup has celery in it. That’s one reason why mine is better than yours. Fact.
Wow that’s wild I’ve never seen that method. I’ll try it out
Just very beautiful people! No wonder Torrisi is the most wonderful chef , (an artist ) on our planet now.
Obra de arte!
This is the show Mike Chen mentioned lol
They looks like BUÑUELOS ,from Puerto Rico.
Maybe theirs a latin connection ? portuguese and Puerto rican , some Puerto Ricans from the islands have portuguese ancestry.
David, what do I do with the shit after it's boiled out of the chicken?
Bro said there is no good pizza in America while also saying KC masterpiece is a good bbq sauce. Love Wolfgang but 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
That's not how chef Alain makes it lol...
This ugly short video is beautiful, in that it is useful. Thank you.
Great video , but can anyone tell me whats the temp of the oven because he had a program already for this , i am curious ?? Ty
Thats in any culture out of the states you always finish your food my abuelita would be looking at him like he just disgraced her cooking skills 😂
